Meet our friendly, experienced pediatricians and staff at Aventura Pediatric Center! Our entire team is dedicated to helping you and your child feel at home from the moment your walk through the door. We're proud to be members of the Miami community and serve the needs of their children.

We pride ourselves in being an exceptional clinic where children come first. Our child-focused practice works hard to meet the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. Compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive staff is the cornerstone of Name of Aventura Pediatric Center's quality care. All of our pediatricians and medical staff are highly trained professionals, and maintain the highest level of accreditation in pediatrics to address the special needs of infants, children, and teens.

Leah Glaser, M.D.

Dr. Leah Glaser is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.   She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in the Biological Basis of Behavior.  Following her interest in biology and children she continued on to medical school at Tufts University to pursue pediatrics.   As a native Floridian, and after the birth of her first child, she moved back to south Florida to complete her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Glaser joined Aventura Pediatric Center in 2004.  She has a special interest in development, behavioral pediatrics, and fostering the emotional and physical wellness of each child.  Dr. Glaser believes that each child is unique and special and strives to make them feel that way in our office.  

Dr. Glaser has hospital privileges at Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.

She currently lives in Miami Beach with her husband and three children.  She loves to travel, spend time with her family, read, and participate in outdoor activities.

Priscila Vidal, ARNP

Priscila Vidal is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida.  She then graduated summa cum laude from Florida International University with a Masters Degree in pediatric care. Priscila has been practicing pediatrics since 2005.  She has worked in two states in large general pediatric groups performing all manners of pediatric care.  She also has an additional 4 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care taking care of critically ill newborns.  She is interested in all aspects of Pediatrics with a special interest in newborns and multiples.

Priscila has hospital privileges at Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.

Priscila is a mother of 3 young sons, including twins.  She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She speaks fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish.

 

Paola Chernomoretz, M.D.

Dr. Chernomoretz is a board certified Pediatrician and has over 10 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients.  She joined Aventura Pediatric Center in July 2011.

Dr. Chernomoretz received her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  She completed her first residency in Pediatrics at Buenos Aires Children's Hospital, The Hospital De Ninos Ricardo Guitierrez in Argentina.  She completed an additional residency in Pediatrics at Miami Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida.

Before joining Aventura Pediatric Center, Paola Chernomoretz was on the faculty at the Buenos Aires School of Medicine in Argentina.  She is currently  working as a pediatric hospitalist at Broward General Hospital in addition to her role at our center.

Dr. Chernomoretz is fluent in both English and Spanish.
